DESCRIPTION:Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) is designed to t
 ake the trained paramedic or EMT and advance their knowledge and prepa
 redness to allow them to safely engage in tactical team support. This 
 course will teach the latest in TECC/TCCC techniques and doctrine\, wh
 ile also presenting the unique challenges the provider will face to ef
 fectively support tactical law enforcement teams. This five-day traini
 ng program will prepare students not only to be a tactical provider\, 
 but also an effective member of any tactical team. \n\nThis course is 
 physically demanding. Candidates are to be physically fit and well res
 ted. The training day begins early with physical fitness and will end 
 when the day’s training objectives are met. \n\nAs part of this cour
 se\, the BCC-TPC Tactical Paramedic Exam will be offered. This test wi
 ll take place at 1\:00 p.m. on August 12\, 2017. The test is an additi
 onal $400.00 to cover exam and proctor fees. \n\nIMPORTANT\: Candidate
 s are asked to provide a letter of endorsement from their host agencie
 s. Letters of endorsement should be emailed to the task force at efish
 er@mcmconsultinggrp.com by August 1\, 2017.
