Ice Rescue and Emergency Response
Course Objectives:
This 16-hour course includes classroom and practical hands-on training. This course will prepare rescue personnel to evaluate and respond to ice related emergencies. The rescue personnel will learn to identify ice conditions, use ice rescue equipment and practice shore base, boat and direct contact ice rescue techniques. This course meets NFPA 1670 technician level guidelines. Pre-requisite: Water Rescue and Emergency Response.
